Annoy-O-Matic for the Apple iPhone/iPod Touch

Drive your friends crazy with the Annoy-O-Matic!

Operation of the Annoy-O-Matic is intuitive, but here's some quick pointers to get you started.

BE SURE YOUR RINGER VOLUME (iPhone) OR SPEAKER/HEADPHONE VOLUME (iPod Touch) IS TURNED UP TO HEAR the sounds!

The Sounds

When the application opens, you will see a scrollable list of sounds . IF YOU ARE USING AN iPod Touch, YOU MUST HAVE EXTERNAL SPEAKERS (OR A DOCK) TO HEAR THE SOUNDS. It will work through your headphones, but what fun is that?

Sound List

Tap on the sound name to hear what will be played. A check mark will indicate the sound is selected for playing and you will hear a preview.

Use the "check mark" to select which sounds will be played at random. You can choose a single sound or multiple sounds.

Making Annoy-O-Matic Do Its Thing!

Once you've chosen all the sounds, use the siders at the bottom of the screen to choose:

Run Screen

Clear Sounds: Unchecks all the sounds
Length to play: This will determine how long it will run unattended
Frequency: How often to play the chosen sounds
Delay before start: How long to wait before beginning to play sounds randomly (according to the frequency you have set)
Start: Start running Annoy-O-Matic. The screen will go "black" with a small dialog that you can tap to stop the application.
